Slash says any claims of a classic Guns N' Roses reunion are just rumors - but won't deny it.
He was referring to recent comments by keyboardist Dizzy Reed, which confirmed the original Gn'R lineup would attend the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction.
"I know that there's a lot of rumor about it, as always when it comes to Gn'R," Slash told radio station DC101 (via Ultimate Classic Rock), "but as it stands right this second, I have no idea what's going on."
Slash could be evading the question, but it could mean the band are yet to enter discussions on whether they will perform, as Reed also suggested last week.
"I don't know when or why or how to bring it up," Reed said. "It's not an every day sort of thing. So we haven't really talked about it - but I'm sure we'll have to at some point."
Still, it looks like a change of stance since December when Slash sharply denied giving an RSVP to the event.
Perhaps long-term tensions between old members makes it awkward to raise the discussion. With their induction on April 14 fast approaching, the original lineup of Axl Rose, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler and Slash will have to start talking soon if they want to rehearse in time for the big night.
Meanwhile, Guns N' Roses have added extra shows to their "Up Close And Personal" tour for next week, in Philadelphia, Miami and Lake Buena.
