The band will also be putting out five limited edition 10" records of the album's singles for Record Store Day, on April 19.

Soundgarden will play Barclaycard British Summer Time in London's Hyde Park on July 4, alongside Black Sabbath, Wolfmother, Faith No More, Motorhead, Soulfly, Gallows and Rise to Remain. They will then join Nine Inch Nails on a joint Stateside tour, heading out on 23 US dates together throughout July and August. The tour will begin in Las Vegas on July 19 before finally winding up at the Hollywood Bowl on August 25. Experimental Sacramento hip-hop group Death Grips, meanwhile, will open up for the two bands on all but two of the dates.

It's always great to have an insight into how a song developed, but this is nearly identical to the finished product. I'm assuming this is because Chris Cornell just summoned this song into existence through some ancient rite that required a blood sacrifice to some sort of deity living within the Sound Garden statues...
Awesome pic of Chris with the beard!
Dude is probably the most photogenic rocker in history. Just once, I'd like to see a shot of him picking his nose, or something.....
Wait....Wolfmother and Faith No More are playing at the same place? I bet Mike Patton is going to have a field day with this.
