Lame. Why release a song on a computer game? It's not even going to be fun to play to begin with as the fun with these games for some is interacting with the songs we love. This was certainly not a move for the fans. Hell look at many other reunited groups like No Doubt they gave the entire back catalogue free with anyone who bought a ticket to their show. Sound Garden = Chris Cornell's Cashs Cow

Who says they won't release it first on a b-sides comp or the radio, Guitar Hero doesn't come out until Sep. 28 so they still have plenty of time to release it before then. And as far as No Doubt is concerned from what I remember tickets were like $200 a pair, I think they would need to give their entire catalog to justify those prices. Of course this was a move for the fans. Duh, they're the ones who will be playing it.

Finally, Soundgarden is on guitar hero> I don't play, but I always like to look at the song lists to see who makes it. Who is going to be remembered as guitar gods, y'know? Kim Thayil and Cornell deserve to be remembered. Children of the Grave is sick, Stray Cat Blues, Paranoid w/ Metallica, Silversun Pickups, One of the few good MCR songs, Jane's Addiction, Foos, ZZ top, all are good picks (not necessarily great guitarists though, just good songs). No interest in the others though.

Only really good songs on the list are Been Caught Stealing and Bohemian Rhapsody. Ugh...Guitar Hero...when will they learn?
