The Massachusetts-based quartet's itinerary currently comprises five December engagements, all of which are set in the South. Hinder will open four of the shows, Three Days Grace will appear on two of the dates, and 3 Doors Down shares the bill on one date. On 11/14, Staind offers up "The Singles: 1996-2006," a 16-track album that will include previously released hits such as "It's Been Awhile," "For You," "So Far Away" and "Right Here," as well as previously unreleased live acoustic covers of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," Alice in Chains' "Nutshell" and Tool's "Sober." Also included will be the version of the Staind cut "Outside" that originally appeared on the "Family Values Tour 1999" album and features vocals from Staind singer Aaron Lewis and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst. The same day that "The Singles: 1996-2006" hits stores, Staind will also release "Staind: The Videos," a DVD that will house 14 music videos, as well as live-acoustic versions of "Everything Changes" and "Sober." Thanks to liveDaily.com for the information. The shows' dates are as follows: 12/02 - Mobile, AL - Mobile Convention Center (w/ 3 Doors Down, Hinder) 12/03 - Columbus, GA - Columbus Civic Center (w/ Hinder) 12/05 - Lafayette, LA - Cajundome (w/ Three Days Grace, Hinder) 12/06 - Jackson, MS - Jackson Coliseum (w/ Three Days Grace, Hinder) 12/10 - North Myrtle Beach, SC - House of Blues

Sweet...Staind is cool. Good stuff. Wow, UG knows how to pic the crappy pictures. Aaron looks like a stoner there.

no offense to them but they shouldn't be allowed to put out a singles album. why don't they release an album instead? have they run out of ideas? maybe they should release a box set of all their songs.
    no mercy
this cool, but I agree with some other people. Staind is a good band, but they need to try work on their sound a little. It doesn't need to be a complete change; just mix it up a little. I think they kinda tried on Chp. V, but still, I'll probably pick up the CD.

I saw them live in Nottingham and once again they blew the roof off and gave an amazing live performance, Staind have stayed strong unlike some of the bands today, where the members argue over money and fame, Staind have stuck to the music and gave us 5 brilliant albums, Im looking forward to more and hope this dvd will have some other live performances than " Its been a while " and " Mudshovel " Like to see " Open your eyes " and " Zoe Jane " As anybody heard a live version or been to a staind concert where they have played " 4 walls " ?

Wow, UG knows how to pic the crappy pictures. Aaron looks like a stoner there. Dude,Aaron is a stoner... Has no one seen the unrated DVD from the 14 shades of grey album? They're "dazed and confused" the whole time. lol. Any way ill probably buy the DVD casue i havent seen many of their videos. THEY NEED TO PUT THE COVER SONG FROM MTVs ICON "metallica" STAIND DID, "NOTHING ELSE MATTERS" with aarons voice ruled. Live long and prosper!

What's this 1996? I didn't know they were around in 1996. Did they even have an album out in 1996? If they were in fact a band in '96 I can understand but they sure as hell didn't have any singles out in 1996.

I second that. Nutshell is always awesome when they do it, Aaron's done an awesome cover of Plush, & they even made Creed's "with arms wide open" not so wankish (still pretty wanky, it is Creed after all). They do need to explore more musically, but you can't deny they have a lot of rocking songs, especially on the first 2 albums.

they sound just like every single other band like nickelback, 3 doors down, five for fighting, etc. They have a couple of good songs, but i think they are ****ing up todays mainstream rock scene

I can deal with that going on the album, but, they'd better have put the studio version of the video on the DVD.

awesome band. guess I can't complain, better than them rushing out a brand new album this soon after chapter 5

They've got talent. I really haven't liked a whole cd of theirs since Break The Cycle, but there's a few good songs on each newer cd.

They don't need to make a "Best Of" album, they need to make a DIFFERENT album because all of their songs sound the same since "Break The Cycle"....come on, recycle those ideas, guys!

Staind is very unique for todays rock scene, they sound similar to Alice in Chains but some songs they are much more metal oriented and some songs are much less metal oriented. They are diverse and there is talent in the band. 14 shades of grey was kinda dull but chapter 5 has some tracks taht are very heavy and go back to the Dysfunction days. A greatest hits album for them i think shouldnt come out for atleast one more new album. but those extra tracks especially comfortably numb i cant wait for.

uhh no they dont. Dysfunction and a good bit of Break the Cycle sounded nothing like today's rock scene.
