In the past few months, during his stint as a judge on "American Idol", Steven Tyler has become a pretty big television star.
And now, he's been nominated for an Emmy (Although it's not for his Idol work; there's not a category for wackiest reality TV judge... yet).
The Aerosmith frontman has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for his work on the Nickelodeon children's show "The Wonder Pets", according to Zap2it.com. His nod comes in the Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program category.
Last year, the singer voiced the Mad Hatter on an Alice in Wonderland-themed edition of the show. He was joined by Ziggy Marley as the Cheshire Cat and Idina Menzel ("Rent", "Wicked") as the Queen of Hearts.
For those unfamiliar with the show, "The Wonder Pets" follows three classroom pets who sing their way through adventures that involve saving animals in trouble.
Check out footage of Tyler's performance below.
