British punk legends The Exploited have been banned from playing in Mexico City because city officials are concerned about a possible outbreak of violence following the riot in Montreal earlier this month.

British punk legends The Exploited have been banned from playing in Mexico City because city officials are concerned about a possible outbreak of violence following the riot in Montreal earlier this month. The Exploited, who never made it to the Montreal gig after they were stopped at the Canadian border, will be embarking on a South American tour in November. This tour will see them head to Argentina for the first time since frontman Wattie declared that the Falklands are British forever whilst on stage at a show in Buenos Aires over 10 years ago. Confirmed dates are as follows: Nov. 21 - Monterrey, MEX @ Cafe Iguana Nov. 27 - Lima, PER @ Teatro Raja Tabla Dec. 04 - Sao Paulo, BRA @ Direct TV Hall Dec. 05 - Curitiba, BRA @ Via Reboucas Dec. 06 - Santiago, CHL @ Estadio Chile Dec. 07 - Buenos Aires, ARG @ Hangar
