Of all the things I expected when I woke up this morning, seeing Miley Cyrus, Maynard Keenan, and Moby featuring in the same album wasn't one of them. But then again, I wouldn't expect anything less strange of the Flaming Lips.
Miley Cyrus singing 2 classic beatles songs, lucy in the sky with diamonds and a day in the life... Oh what a great idea that is.
that is such old news- people have known she was on those songs for like a year now- as a big fan of the beatles and the lips, I no longer care about miley being involved because **** it. I for one am really excited to hear my favorite songs from this album, "getting better", be done by another one of my favorite bands- Dr. Dog. That will be so very dope
The Flaming Lips are awesome. I'd love a new album of original music but their covers are almost always great.
Man, I wish they would stop doing all this cover/collaboration bullshit and just make a new album of originals. Miley Cyrus? C'mon guys you have to do better than oh shit Maynard's guesting this is gonna be great.
Why should I worry about Miley Cyrus singing a couple of Beatles tunes? J Mascis is going to play on the album. That's all, shut up and take my money.
Maynard Keenan, Miley Cyrus, Moby, and the Flaming Lips doing a Sgt. Pepper's cover album. Jesus Christ.
Wow, thats pretty terrible, and Miley Cyrus isnt even the worst thing about it.
Gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, gone..
They played this at the Portland Waterfront show, it wasn't that great there, but it sounds ****ing terrible here.
I honestly feel like Miley did a decent job on the vocals. It's just... the production and style of the song that really don't work.
