Chris Weitz also revealed at the Comic-Con convention in San Francisco that Bon Iver would feature on the score. The film, which stars Robert Pattinson, is due to be released in November. "I selfishly want to put songs in by artists I love - and some the cast and crew also happen to love," Weitz told HitFix.com. "I think [Bon Iver] is fantastic. He says he wrote it for the film, but who ever knows if it might just be something laying around in his cupboard. Weitz, who first mentioned Yorke's involvement during an interview earlier this month, said he hoped to listen to the Radiohead singer's contribution today. "Unless it's sounds of him belching, I think I'll put it in, he joked. Meanwhile, the director also confirmed that he is "hoping to get Kings Of Leon to contribute to the soundtrack. As Gigwise reported last week, the band's frontman Caleb Followill said in a recent interview that he was too busy to write a song for the movie. New Moon is the second part of the four-part Twilight Saga, which tells the story of a vampire who falls in love with an ordinary schoolgirl. The soundtrack to the first film featured songs by Muse, Paramore and Pattinson. Thanks for the report to Gigwise.com.

As much as I love Radiohead's music, I kinda dislike Thom, and I didn't really like his solo stuff...

And all the other bands that have a similar vocal sound to Yorke. It's why he digitized the hell out of his voice for Kid A and Amnesiac. All Bellamy did is squeeze his crotch really hard so he can hit those impossibly high falsetto notes.
yeah and radiohead came before muse. way.

Sequel? They made a first movie out of that? Started to read the book a few years ago just to see what the hype was all about, but I couldn't take it. Talk about taking a dump all over vampire mythology.

Yes but Matts Falsetto is unique in that Matt has a smaller vocal box than most people making his voice that much higher. If you actually listen to both band you would see Muse and Radiohead really are very different bands...

I love the picture of Thom they used for this article. I wonder what his take is on this whole thing, I can't really picture Thom being that into this whole Twilight schtick besides using it as a vehicle for Radiohead's music.

And what's wrong with sounds of him belching? If he looped it and digitized it, you'd never know and even if he didn't it'd still be audio gold compared to most of the crap out there!
