Tom Morello has called for 10,000 guitarists to join him in New York today, and you can join him.
The Rage Against The Machine guitarist wants to conduct a huge May Day demonstration as part of the Occupy Wall Street movement.
The first rehearsal in New York will be at Bryant Park at noon. "Don't have a guitar? Bring a drum," he tweeted. "No drum? Bring a kazoo. No kazoo? Just come."
The impromptu occupation of New York today will also feature a march from Union Square to Lower Manhattan.
Morello has been supporting the movement since it began in September last year, and has since been seen performing at other Occupy protests including those in London and Los Angeles.
The Occupy protests intend to highlight social and economic inequality, and seeks to expose corruption in the government and financial sector.
Other musicians to pledge their support at OccupyMusicians.com include Lou Reed, Amanda Palmer, members of Fugazi and Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys.
