maybe if it's approximately 10x better than that steaming pile of shite, 10,000 days, then i'll consider buying it.

Not that I would ever complain, since I am happy they are even touring, but I am hoping that the setlist is different from last years. At least a little different. But whatever **** year I am seeing them in my hometown of HOUSTON next month!

While at the same time the release of this new album will break the first week sales of whatever the current record holder is when it is released. We get it. Poor Tool, something something, blah blah, wah wah etc. Now please shut up and give it a rest.
C'mon, that was an obvious joke...

Don't expect anything before the album. The US runs from the last two summers seem to be for the purpose of getting out there a bit, dusting off the old machine. That said, if they STILL don't end up changing their setlist significantly from every single 10,000 Days show I will not be happy. Not because I'll be at any of these shows, but because they are a band that could and should be changing things up, but they've played something stupid like 20 different songs over hundreds and hundreds of shows since 2006.
This. I really hope they start adding more material to their sets. I saw them in Toronto last August (and it fantastic by the way) but it was the same setlist that they've been using for the last three years.

lmfao. I remember when 10,000 days came out I thought "5 ****ing years, this album better be awesome". And of course it was. So I shall patiently wait because I'm sure they'll prove that the wait was worthwhile yet again
