Tool will hit the road next month for a summer arena tour, the prog-metal band's first live dates since its summer trek last year.
The group kicks off the outing June 19 in New Orleans. Highlights include dates in Houston (6/20) and San Francisco (7/12), as well as several Canadian dates, starting with a July 4 show in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dates are shown below. Tickets go on sale May 8.
Tool's most recent studio album, "10,000 Days," surfaced in 2006, debuting at the top of The Billboard 200 and earning the group two Grammy nominations.
Meanwhile, Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan continues to tackle various projects away from the band, including promoting the wine produced by his Arizona-based Stronghold Vineyards, which he co-founded in 2007.
"It's not a side project," Keenan said of his foray into the wine industry during a 2008 interview with LiveDaily. "This is my future. I'm not The Rolling Stones. I'm not going to tour forever. It's my legacy."
