Fresh off his win at the Academy - which awarded him an Oscar for his score to "The Social Network" - Trent Reznor will now get to work on at least two additional scores.
Apparently encouraged by his Oscar victory, Reznor will take his foray into film one step further - he will not only write the music for, but also star in "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." The film is not based on a true story. At least, not entirely.
Online publication Badass Digest reports that Reznor will appear as a vampire in the movie, which is being produced by Tim Burton. Neither of those statements are all that surprising. The movie is an exploration of Abraham Lincoln's secret lifelong battle with vampires. OK - that statement kinda is.
Reznor is also working on the score for "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo." Guess when you find happiness, marry a beautiful lady and disband an institutional band like Nine Inch Nails, your life starts to become more and more like the movies. Or, at least, begins to sound like it.
