Casually discussing his musical preferences, British prime minister David Cameron shared fondness of several guitar-driven acts, naming the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay among personal favorites.
Naming Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit as the last act he's seen in concert, Cameron went on to pinpoint his favorite artists. "The Smiths, Bruce Springsteen," he told Daily Mail (via Digital Spy). "I play Coldplay and Mumford & Sons far too much. Sometimes I have music to relax to, that I automatically switch off to."
The premiere then gave full support to Spotify streaming service, adding, "I like Spotify. It's good because you can choose a track you like and then press 'radio' and it plays lots of songs like it."
Switching to his children's musical taste, Cameron noted that although his kids are Hannah Montana fans, they still haven't fully realized that it's in fact Miley Cyrus. "My children are too young," he said. "They knew Hannah Montana and luckily they haven't made the link yet, so don't put this in the paper! They haven't connected this lovely Hannah Montana, who is now this person twerking."
Asked to comment on the controversial teen star, Cameron briefly noted: "I don't want to get drawn into all that. I've got into enough trouble commenting on celebrity issues recently so I think I will pass!"
