Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil spoke to "The Todd N Tyler Radio Empire" about the band's upcoming tour and his relationship with his bandmates more than three decades into the group's career.

Speaking about the band's upcoming "The Final Tour", which begins later this month, singer said (via Blabbermouth): "The band isn't over. Here's the thing. Mötley Crüe is a business. And there's different parts of the business - merchandising, there's music and there's touring. We're just ceasing the touring part. But there's gonna be still music coming from Mötley Crüe for different types of things, and still merchandise and stuff like that. We're just saying that we won't tour anymore. That's really kind of it."

Asked about his relationship with his bandmates, Vince said: "Here's the thing. We've been together 33 years, and of course, we have our arguments, just like brothers do. You have an argument and you make up the next day. And you have an argument and you make up... It's a family. [But] we're all having fun right now."

During the aforementioned press conference, Neil was asked why the band decided to call it quits now after more than 30 years. "We started talking about it a few years ago," he said. "You know, we didn't want to be one of those bands that maybe have one guy left in it or somebody's brother or something like that. You know, we wanted to be - we want to go out with the four founding members of Mötley Crüe and go out on top, and leave a legacy of a band called Mötley Crüe."

The special guest on the entire North American tour will be Alice Cooper, marking the first time that the legendary shock rocker and the Motley Crue will join forces live.

The four members of Mötley Crüe held a press conference on January 28 at Hotel Roosevelt in Los Angeles where they announced that the band will launch its "Final Tour" later this year, with the group planning to play more than 70 shows in North America in 2014 and more overseas in 2015. Making it official, the four members of the band had their lawyer draw up a formal "cessation of touring" agreement that goes into effect at the end of 2015 and prohibits the members of the group from going on the road again under the Mötley Crüe banner.

More 'Greatest Hits' albums every year or two, with the same ****ing songs on them!

Vince Neil is a shitty human being and a shitty singer. Thankfully Motley Crue can rise above it and still be pretty cool. In any case I bet your left nut they tour again.

Can these ever make up their mind? Or is this all some plan to just generate publicity and sell tickets for their supposed fair well tour?

They also said that they are recording their final song. This doesn't make any sense at all, but hey I know a lot of bands that don't tour or record new music. I have binders full of these bands...

"The band isn't over. Here's the thing. Mötley Crüe is a business. And there's different parts of the business - merchandising" Great way to start the article off, no need to read anymore

Just as long as he takes his foot off the gas pedal when he's been drinking, that's all anyone should worry about

soooo...they decide to stop doing what is probably the most successful part of the band? (and the one that probably makes the most money) and then they record what is supposed to be a "final song" for a compilation album?

if they ever wanted to tour again all they'd need to do is pull the fans being more important than a contract shit

Crue hasn't really done anything worth mentioning in a while anyway... I don't really care.
