Angus & Julia Stone: 'Down The Way' Listening Party On UG Profiles
Australian brother/sister duo Angus & Julia Stone are back with sophomore album Down The Way, the follow up to their 2009 critically acclaimed debut A Book Like This. The album will be available starting today, March 30. Today you have a chance to listen to the entire Down The Way album exclusively on the Angus & Julia Stone's UG Profile! Angus & Julia have premiered the first new single, "and the boys," out now in iTunes. Check out the newly unveiled video for "and the boys" here. "and the boys," co-produced by Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright), inspires joy gained from love lost. With a driving drumbeat, beautiful touches of melatron and moog behind the acoustic guitars and dancing bass and piano, the song speaks to the power of the beauty that can be found in even the hardest of times. Down The Way highlights the endless talents of this brother and sister as musicians, songwriters and producers. The self-produced album was recorded between England, New York and Australia - from an old sawmill on the riverbanks of Fowey, Cornwall to a studio in Brooklyn, to a water tank in Coolangatta to the streets of London and back to Queens. Down The Way is comprised of 13 tracks that sail across the different realms of musical themes, from folksy charm to epic orchestral grandeur, all the while emphasizing the pair's beautifully subtle harmonies. Down The Way Track Listing: 01. Hold On 02. Black Crow 03. For you 04. Big Jet Plane 05. Santa Monica Dream 06. Yellow Brick Road 07. and the boys 08. On The Road 09. Walk It Off 10. Hush 11.
