Ke$ha: Cover Of Bob Dylan's Song Posted Online
Ke$ha's cover of Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" has been posted online scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch the track. The singer recorded her own version of the track for the forthcoming tribute album "Chimes Of Freedom: Songs Of Bob Dylan Honouring 50 Years Of Amnesty International", which will be released on January 30 2012. Other artists to record covers for the LP include Adele, who has contributed a session version of her take on Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love", and Miley Cyrus with her rendition of "You're Gonna Make Me Lonseome When You Go". Jackson Browne, Elvis Costello, My Chemical Romance, Queens Of The Stone Age and actress Evan Rachel Wood will also feature on the collection, which comprises 80 different artists. Talking about her version of the song, Ke$ha told Rolling Stone: "There were particular lyrics in the song that you can just tell, once they came out of my mouth the emotion caught up with me and I just started weeping." "It's something that I didn't plan on, that wasn't contrived at all. It just sort of happened. It seemed like a suicide note to the love of my life and to my former life. Because everything in my life has changed so much." Amnesty International was founded in 1962, the same year that Bob Dylan released his debut album.
