Red Hot Chili Peppers: First Single Preview Posted Online
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are planning to release album "Stadium Arcadium" on May 8th as the long awaited follow-up to 2002's 8-million selling "By The Way". Check out 30-seconds clips of the first single, Dani California, using the links below:
  • Windows Media Player: Hi, Lo
  • Quicktime: Hi, Lo Originally conceived as a trilogy with 38 songs in contention, "Stadium Arcadium" will be a 25 tracks double album with titles including the first single "Dani California" as well as other songs such as "Snow", "Animal Bar", "Wet Sand", "Charlie", "Desecration Smile" and "Hard To Concentrate". "Stadium Arcadium" will be preceded by the release of the single "Dani California" on May 1st. Dani California is to be released first as a ringtone on 13th March. The band's back catalogue is also expected to materialize on download services during March 2006. The band -- Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante and Chad Smith -- entered the studio last March with producer Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, System Of A Down) to commence work upon the album and all contributed equally to the new material. Having played three gargantuan shows at Hyde Park eighteen months ago to a total of 300,000 people, plans are afoot to the band to return to the UK live arena later this year. Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to play a stadium tour this summer in support of their upcoming double album "Stadium Arcadium". The tour represents their first UK shows since 2004's gargantuan gigs at Hyde Park and also includes a headline slot at T in the Park.
