Dunlop Thanks UG Readers for Voting Cry Baby as Best Pedal
Guitar pedal manufacturer Dunlop has sent a personal thank you to UG readers for voting their Cry Baby pedal the best guitar pedal of all time. The Cry Baby topped our recent poll where UG readers voted for the best guitar pedals ever, where Dunlop earned a total of three places in the final top 10 with their MXR Carbon Copy and Fuzz Face pedals. "Dunlop Manufacturing is proud to be the guardian of a pedal so iconic as the Cry Baby, and we strive to retain the legacy of its tone while also exploring new directions," said Dunlop in a statement to UG. "We want to thank Ultimate Guitar's readers for this great honor." Dunlop were keen to mention their awesome documentary "Cry Baby: The Pedal That Rocks The World" which covers the Cry Baby's history and its place among some of the greatest music ever written. We've embedded the entire movie here for you to enjoy:
If you haven't seen it yet, check out the original top 10 guitar pedals ever post. Do you agree that the Cry Baby is the best guitar pedal of all time? Let us know in the comments.
