The most stylish musicians surely come from the rock world. Sure, pop stars spend extraordinary amounts of money on designers and stylists, but it never looks as effortless as a confident frontman.

But with so many rock style icons through the ages, we want you to help pick out the best from the rest.

This week's question is:

Who is the most stylish musician ever?

We don't care if they make an effort to dress smart - we just want people whose appearance is absolutely iconic.

Some great examples include Ozzy Osbourne, whose black drabs and round purple glasses are immediately recognisable around the world. Or Steven Tyler, whose '70s chic and unique lips make him stand out in the history books. Or there's Rob Zombie, who looks so distinctive that you'd probably run and hide if he walked down your street.

Post one nomination per comment, and up vote any that you agree with. We'll round up your results and post them in a gallery that would make Kate Moss' eyes water on Friday - maybe your nomination will appear in the final list. Good luck!

Haha if you're going for gross style, yes. Case and point: shirtless with boxers during Cunning Stunts.

Slash is what my generation pictures when they think of rock music. I think that level of distinctiveness merits a spot on the list.

Good Choice. But I would also have to say THE BEATLES. They went from wearing suits, to strange customes (Sgt. Peppers era) to growing their hair etc. They went through a complete amazing Metamorphosis

Oh this is absolutely surprising? Hendrix, Slah, Jack White and the like are immedietly listed. Wow, how original UG. Never getting tired of the same old stuff?

He's right, anyone who watches South Park knows this. He's the equivalent of Santa Claus. Just another fictional made up character parents lie to their kids about

If you think slash is stylish, you have no sense of style. T-shirt and jeans, is not stylish. Hell izzy stradlin was the best dressed of the bunch.

how many times are you going to spam people's suggestions with THE BEATLES. We get it dude, you think the beatles should be recognized for SOMETHING ELSE as well as everything else they already have. The rolling stones had more style imo then the beatles.

Y'know what? Rick Goddamned Astley. This question doesn't have a whole lot of answers, so we can put this ******* on the list.

Izzy Stradlin,he always looked rock n roll without being cheesy, lets be honest, if Slash wasn't famous and he was walking down the road with a top hat on you'd think he was a twat.

I actually agree. Izzy was really casually cool. A lot of the time the reason why people get away with their eccentric fashion is because of their fame.
    Dirtee
    Chris Cornell, smoooooth sonovabitch

Nothing like black 3/4 shorts, steel capped boots, nipples out, a glorious dark mane and a filthy, filthy mustache
