According to a posting at the A Perfect Circle fan site APerfectCircle.net, the group intend to put together a proper live performance DVD compiled from footage from both the "Mer De Noms" and "Thirteenth Step" eras of touring. "It may be awhile though; the band will take their time with it and first let these upcoming releases ('eMOTIVe' and 'aMOTION') run their course," the posting adds. In other news, the upcoming A Perfect Circle CD and DVD releases will "indeed fulfill the band's three-album contract with Virgin Records," the site reports. "So it will be a long while after November 16th if and when we have anything to report regarding a new contract with Virgin or any other label. For now, all parties involved are focused on working these releases, and the future will be addressed in time." A Perfect Circle's upcoming album, "eMOTIVe" is scheduled for release on November 2 through Virgin. To fit with the LP's political positioning, it features 10 covers of civic-minded tunes such as Nick Lowe's "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace Love and Understanding", Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" and Black Flag's "Gimme Gimme Gimme". A video for one of the two new songs on the album, "Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums", is posted on the band's web site. A remix/DVD album, "aMOTION", will be released on November 16. Thanks to Blabbermouth.net.

My personal favorite is definately Orestes from the 'Mer de noms' and 'The Noose' from 'thirteenth step'... wonder where these guys just come from and make good music..

Dang, APC already releasing another album?? But its mostly covers *sobs*... Mer De Noms was outstanding, and Thirteenth Step kicked Mer De Noms in the balls... but what I wanna know is, is when Maynards gonna get Tool to release another album...

My personal favourite is The Noose, but the rest all come in a very close second. Pretty much the only song I've ever skipped is Sleeping Beauty, and I still like that anyway.

I LOVE ADDING DVD'S TO MY COLLECTION. I THOUGHT THAT THE DVD THEY WERE GONNA RELEASE AFTER THEIR CD WAS ALL, BUT NOW THEY'RE GONNA PUT TOGETHER A FULL LENGTH ONE.....THAT'S JUST FANTABULOUS. XEUS, I RECOMMEND THESE: FOR HEAVY-"THE OUTSIDER," "JUDITH," "MAGDALENA," "PET." FOR SOFTER-"ORESTES," "3 LIBRAS," "GRAVITY." START OUT WITH THOSE.

IN my opinion..Maynard is much better...and hotter..in APC..i heard that the band was going to break up. That TOOL member are tired of him always being with APC and not dedicating his time to them...just what i heard...Mer De Noms..was the best album ever released..Thiteenth Step...was good also..but doesnt match up to the first..another album already..eMOTIVE came out and..too bad it was cover songs..but being a devoted fan to APC..i didnt rreally care..they took the songs and made them their own. It was awesome..2nd DVD..aMOTION..even better..but not enough Maynard =(...still the best thing..I can truly say that 2004 was a good year for APC..and i hope for more good things in the future.
