A Perfect Circle have announced that they will be going back on hiatus as members of the group pursue their own projects, reports MuchMusic. The news comes just over a week after the Election Day release of their politically charged "eMOTIVe" album.

Meanwhile, frontman Maynard Keenan says he'll be recording and touring with Tool. Fans hoping for a little more from A Perfect Circle are in luck. The band releases a CD/DVD package called "aMOTION" later this month.

Let's hope Jeordie from APC doesn't go off to play Japanese pop and never come back. And someone else go off to become some dance god. I say let's just combine APC and Tool to make one big creative band. Even though that's a dumb idea. Ok, I'll shut up now...

I like tool better than apc, but they're both good. Can't wait for new tool album...I might even buy it.

Not sure; but I wouldn't expect the same thing to happen to Tool as they aren't quite so contrived. To me, it's pretty evident that APC was all about the money.

Funny how they "decided" to go back to what they were doing... Considering the three record contract is now up. I knew they would do something stupid and cheese the last album, just to get it out there to fulfill the contract. Ahh well... There is just so much stupidity in it all that I won't take it further.

Piggy088: the first person the government should clone is maynard. The we could have both bands touring together and constant new material.

APC rule, I saw them live last year and they kicked ass. I love tool (way more than APC[in fact they have always been my favorite band) and can't wait until april/may/june. Tool keep getting better and better with each album. One things for sure 2005 is looking to be a great year for music....(tool, NIN, deftones etc.) I better stop talking before I wet myself out of joy.
