A new Ronnie James Dio compilation album, entitled "Mightier Than The Sword: The Ronnie James Dio Story", will be released in the U.K. on 6 June via Sanctuary.

The two-disc collection will feature tracks from Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio and Heaven & Hell, as well as Dio's solo material.

    Why even try to put a 40-year career on a mere two disc release? Try four discs and you would still miss a lot...

    Where is The Man on Silver Mountain? Some of the others are forgivable, but you can't make a Ronnie James Dio career-spanning album and leave off one of the best songs of his career. I was glad to see Black Sabbath's I on there, though. But there's not enough off Holy Diver on here, either. That was his best album, by far.

    looks cool but for the hard core fans who have EVERY album this is kind of meh, they didnt even add live stuff

    I don't care, I really don't... I'm a fan and respect him as much as the next guy, but I think this is a bit too much. The guy is dead, just make one hell of a compilation album/dvd and be done with it... I just feel like they're making money off of his death and it's not right.
