Brody Dalle has revealed details of her debut solo album, as well as announcing a series of UK tour dates, Gigwise reports.
The former the Distillers and Spinnerette frontwoman last week unveiled single "Meet the Foetus/Oh the Joy," much to fans' delight. Now, Dalle has revealed her solo album is called "Diploid Love," and will be released April 28.
Guests on Diploid Love include Garbage's Shirley Manson, Warpaint's Emily Kokal, Nick Valensi of the Strokes, and Queens of the Stone Age's Michael Shuman. The record was co-produced alongside Alain Johannes, who has worked with the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Them Crooked Vultures.
What's more, Dalle has announced a series of UK tour dates in support of "Diploid Love," playing an intimate show in London February 24, before returning in April for bigger stops in London, Manchester, Birmingham and more.
