Double Grammy-nominated rockers Buckcherry have unleashed their first ever live album,Live & Loud 2009. The album features the band's biggest hits like "Sorry" (#2 on Billboard's Hot AC chart), "Crazy Bitch" (#3, Mainstream Rock), "Lit Up" (#1, Mainstream Rock), "Ridin'" (#9, Mainstream Rock), "Everything" (#5, Active Rock), and songs from the band's current hit albumBlack Butterfly. In putting the live album together culled from a week of Canadian shows this Spring, singer Josh Todd explains, "We are at our best at a live show so we wanted to capture what this band is all about live." Guitarist Keith Nelson adds, "We set out to give fans an accurate representation of a great night out at a Buckcherry show." In addition toLive & Loud 2009, a new enhanced edition ofBlack Butterfly was released on September 8thincluding "Highway Star," the theme song for TNT's Nascar coverage as well as the super-sized video, which intercuts Nascar footage with the band's performance.Black Butterfly was released in September of last year and brought the band their first Top 10 album debut, landing at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 chart (the highest debuting rock album of the week). It has also earned the titles of Album of the Year byEntertainment Weeklyand Best Rock Album by iTunes critics in 2008, has produced two multi-format rock hits with "Talk To Me" and "Rescue Me." After falling down, picking themselves back up again and having one of the most successful headlining arena rock tours of last fall/winter, Buckcherry is back stronger than ever and on tour with rock legends Kiss.

Saw Buckcherry live in Hershey, PA with A7X and Papa Roach, they were god awful in comparison. They were seriously the worst band I heard live, everyone was yelling to bring the opening act (Burn Halo) out again lol

You all ****in suck. There should only be more bands like Buckchery and less of this Nu-Metal, EMO type shit. Buckcherry is an amazing Rock band who play real Rock msic. Name another band that can play alongside bands like Kiss, Aerosmith, and still be able to play shows with Papa Roach and newer bands alike. They are all about fun rock music and they truly do get it. Although I don't like Kiss, that bill couldn't be better. Two bands who sing about partying and rock n roll.

They're should be more bands like Buckcherry? Are you serious? There are millions of bands that sound like Buckcherry flooding "rock" radio stations nowadays. Thats the problem with radio today. All they play is no talent sell out rock like Buckcherry and then people like you believe thats what good music should sound like. What tops it off is that you try to prove a point by listing that they played with Kiss, Aerosmith, and Papa Roach. Three equally embarrassing bands! hahahahahahah

Sometimes UG make some headlines that can be really misinterpreted. If Buckcherry really made the first live album ever, we wouldn't have another one again. ... ...And I mean that in the sense that we'd be deaf.

Yep, that's what we need more of, "real rawk music." none of that forward looking "art" crap.

radio friendly...really? Good sleaze rock at its best right here guys

They opened for Kiss and they're even worse live than in the studio. They put on a horrible show too.

Songwriting-wise, not live show wise. Their live shows are fantastic.

Well they're clean now, and we all see what that did to Aerosmith. Still a great band, but they'll never be as good as they were.

I like partying to their songs a lot (crazy bitch, lit up, too drunk, ridin', etc...) and I like the kinda music they make, but there's just something about em' that seems to be holding them back...

just saw them open for kiss. not as good as last year when the opened for motley crue, but a great live band for sure and they have several great tunes as well. they played highway star too. josh todd is funny, and a great singer and performer, and the rest of the guys rock out too.

Headlining last year? I saw them open for A7X. I know Rev Theory went first, but I can't even remember whether Buck Cherry or Pappa Roach went next. None of those acts were impressive, even if you don't compare them to the actualy headliner, A7X. And I do like several of their songs. Maybe they had an off night, or maybe they were held back, so as not to upstage the main act--I don't know, and don't really care.

I'm not totally sure how I feel about Buckcherry... I like a few songs (Rescue Me being my favorite), but the rest are just plain terrible... (like Sorry)
