Finnish metal icons Children of Bodom have officially premiered "Transference," a new track off their upcoming release "Halo of Blood."

Featuring several killer riffs and frontman Alexi Laiho's signature growling voice, the song is bound to deliver everything the metal five-piece is known for. The record itself is set to drop on June 11 via Nuclear Blast Records, featuring a total of ten new songs.

"'Transference' has an evil vibe to it which I wish I knew how to explain because it still gives me chills," Laiho said via official website. "This is one of our favorite tracks from the new album. Enjoy!"

As the group's 8th studio effort, "Halo of Blood" sees the band collaborating with longtime engineer Mikko Karmila and Hypocrisy frontman Peter Tagtgren, with whom they also worked on "Follow the Reaper" and "Hate Crew Deathroll."

Recorded at the Danger Johnny Studios in Finland, the album is also expected to feature a special guest appearance from Annihilator frontman Jeff Waters. You can check out the new song below or over at iTunes.

As far as live performances go, the band is set to embark on a European tour this September. With a two-month string of concert dates stretching all the way to late November, the tour will see the band visiting over 20 countries of the old continent.

The vocals sound fantastic on this track! Hopefully the other tracks will be as impressive or even better.
This solo sounds a bit like the solo in bodom after midnight. I think this album will be better than Blooddrunk and Relentless Reckless Forever.
Good song, but I expected it to be better. Overall it's got some nice riffs and catchy hooks that grow on you quickly, though, and the guitar/synth trade-off fits well, too.
UG really need to be faster with some of their music news. Just a thought. Other than that, this song sounds 6/10 Bodom can do better; it's not bad but it's not something special
"As the group's eight studio effort" lol Song isn't bad, the guitar & keyboard solos are pretty awesome.
I like RRF, but they only had like 9 or 10 songs on that one, and this next one will feature about the about the same amount...shame.
Do you realize that every CoB album has 9 or 10 songs? Thats the receipe to Bodom
Really looking forward to the new album. RRF was definetly a step up from Blooddrunk . . . so I am hoping they take another step forward
Its a step in the right direction after the downhill slope of the last 3 albums. Hopefully the rest of the album is better than the songs that have leaked.
its not getting heavier, you're trying too hard, just relax bodom just relax.
Stopped listening to these guys when I turned 13. the fuarking "Hate" and "killmyself" gimmick is laughable.
Either that youtube upload, or the entire album, is of terrible audio quality. I had to check a song on my iTunes to assure myself it wasn't the speakers!
