Late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton's early band Trauma has announced a record deal with Pure Steel Records for the release of their new full-length album.
"The band has recorded a brand new 10 song album," the official press release reads.
"All songs were produced by the band. The sound is unmistakably hard and heavy. More news coming soon."
The band is operating as a four-piece, featuring Donny Hillier on vocals, Kurt Fry on guitar, drummer Kris Gustofson and Marces Eaton on bass.
Trauma got back on track in 2011 following a 16-year break. The group was previously active from 1981 to 1985 and has released their debut "Scratch and Scream" in 1984. More details coming soon.
