Ed Harcourt releases a new single, 'Loneliness', which is taken from his critically acclaimed album 'Strangers', on Valentines Day - Monday 14th February. Though the title of the track suggests otherwise, the song is a heroically upbeat affair which, as Ed describes himself, would be great to 'imagine thousands of people singing along at a festival'.
Both formats, CD and 7, will be backed by tracks that have previously been unreleased. Epitaph appears on the CD and Every Night on the 7.
'Strangers' is Ed Harcourt's third album and shows him at his most intimate, intricate and exhilarating best. It's his most honest and exposed album. To support the release of 'Loneliness', Ed will be playing a couple of live shows in London and Glasgow with more dates still tbc.
