Legendary Washington D.C. punk rockers Fugazi have spent nearly 3 years writing their long-awatied album featuring new material as their follow-up to 2001's "The Argument". There were a lot of fans saying "We want a new album!" and hoping it won't have the same delay as Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy". The band were previously rumoured to have a new album in 2004 on their new label American Recordings, but nothing had surfaced and frontman Ian MacKaye did not seem to have anything to do with the release. Some legal problems have plagued Fugazi on holding off on the recording and release of that album. Fugazi have also previously been on hiatus since 2002-2003 when they had no formal plans to do anything as a band in the near future.

It's a shame when websites stoop to posting crap fake news stories like this to get people to come look at them.
