Green Day has issued a Facebook post, revealing that they will be releasing 18 demos in various formats as part of this year's Record Store DayRolling Stone reports.

"We are releasing 18 demos, including an unreleased track, from the Uno, Dos and Tres sessions, exclusively for @recordstoreday. It will come out on colored ‪#‎vinyl‬, ‪#‎CD‬ and even ‪#‎cassette‬."

It is as yet unrevealed what the track listing for the release will be, or the title of the unreleased track that will be included with the set.

Speaking to Jo Whiley on her BBC Radio 2 show recently, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong noted that the band is planning to go on hiatus after their Australian tour: "We're going to Australia, doing a tour there and then we're going to take a break. We haven't really been doing much. So it's just nice to kind of do some other things, y'know, when we get ready to do Green Day again, our batteries will be charged."

    just call it "Cinco"
who's face will be on it? Rob Cavallos?
I loved Rob's earlier work with GD, but he made a bad plan even worse on the trilogy. He gave them the "ac/dc tone" idea, and the production is simply awful overall. I mean, just listen to the drums...the sound like utter shit. Jason Freese should be on there
I had no problem with the sound of the three albums, except for the constant forced swearing and that some of tres songs are filler. Overall the albums felt like newer versions of insomniac/nimrod, I just hated the forced language. I like AC/DC so that doesn't bother me much. Also Mike needs to start using his bass again like he did during the Dookie days... though he did have a few good moments in the trilogy.
Not that I won't listen to it, but I don't exactly have high hopes for a song that was axed from an album (if Uno/Dos/Tre is considered a triple album) with 37 songs.
Maybe it'll be some of the tracks that SHOULD have been in the trilogy
Hopefully the break produces something brilliant again like Foxboro Hot Tubs, not so much The Network.
It is called Demolicious! The unreleased track is called "State Of Shock" and it also has an acoustic version of "Stay The Night".
The song will be called Rubie Mae. You can hear it at the beginning of Quatro.
Where are you pulling this shit from? It's called State of shock.
No, he's right, there was a song that was never released called Rubie Mae, whether or not it'll be on the new album isn't certain
