I'm going to be blasting this album out of my car while I'm driving, wearing my aviators and smoking some marlboro reds. It'll be badass.

There are hundreds of these albums in existence for most major bands of the past few decades. This isn't news, I'm sure these type of albums gets released all the time... iTunes has plenty.

Man! I wish I knew about these sooner. I got all the mozart, bach, beethoven stuff for my baby but I am gonna have to add these to the list! This stuff is great for babies, if you don't have one then you really don't get it...

This is definitely something I would play to my kids one day (Not Gun's 'n Roses though) but the other lullaby albums. Also wouldn't you want your kids to listen to the same music (sort of) as you (waiting for an inappropriate reply). Check it out on YouTube, this makes the original songs sound nostalgic (not Guns though). Nothing else matters in lullaby mode...

I don't see why some people are mad, I would play those for my kids, if I had any. so he can get a grasp of good music. The estrange lullaby isn't that bad....I yawned as I previewed it.

I don't think I'm gonna sing Welcome to the Jungle to my son with lyrics like... you know where you are? you in the jungle, you gonna die... Yeah.... NEXT!

Seriously, Guns'N'Roses is one of the best bands out there... Can you seriously say that if you were listening to your radio and Welcome to the Jungle came on, that you wouldn't turn it up out of respect for rock'n'roll??? Damn, dude... You honestly don't know what good music is... Get outta' here, seriously...

I yawned with estranged too. BTW, they are instrumentals and they aren't sh*t(musically) IMO. I would actually play them if i had a kid.

But Axl would probably pay them more to put new songs on. Not to mention it's money grabbing regardless, because it's someone else's songs played in a gimmicky fashion.

They already got a ton of CDs like this on iTunes for a whole bunch of different artists. They all suck hardcore. Imagine every song played on an xylophone and at a much slower pase. That's what you'll get. Just look at what they did to songs by the Smashing Pumpkins, Pink Floyd, U2, Bob Marley, The Cure and others. That music sucks. I'll that the orchestral interpretations of the same groups any day over this crap.

Sounds like GnR songs made with one of those wind up music boxes. Give your baby the real thing instead. My 9 month of loves GnR. I put on the videos for him whenever he is cranky and does not want to sleep. I play them a little loud on a 50 inch plasma. As soon as he hears the bus pulling up in welcome to the jungle he gets quiet and all his attention is on the TV. 20 minutes later the kid is sound asleep. November rain is probably the song he falls asleep to the most.

Is it actually gonna be Gn'R preforming the songs? Or is it just gonna be some random dude singing popular songs? Either way...I want a review before i think about buying it
    travo1978
hell i always just play the actual songs. he sleeps great with them playing.

Well my kids are smart and wouldn't go around singing that - they would get the lyrics right.

I dont understand why "Mr Brownstone" is being singled out. Yeah it's about heroin but estranged is about suicide and "Knockin' on heavens door" mentions murder. I doubt they would be allowed to release this if the songs weren't instrumental, even though the "target audience" can't talk yet! haha When i have kids im definetly going to check out the Metallica and AC/DC records. I wonder if the kids grow up to love hard rock or metal?
    -xCaMRocKx-
Oh, and OF COURSE they're instrumental. Do you really think that the people who made this would have deemed Guns lyrics suitable for children?
    -xCaMRocKx-
Everyone is shocked and outraged, but you guys obviously don't know they've been doing this for years! Theres Zeppelin, 2 Beatles ones, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, and about 20 other well known bands. They're good arrangements. I have insomnia and I like to listen to them, they do help you to sleep. If I had babies, I'd definitely get them these to sleep to.

ok. i just need to say there new album is absolute SHIT!!! but guns n roses is over. they need to stop releasing albums. and just stop trying to make people buy a 'new' album. which most people who listen to them already have all them songs. and i believe we shold let the good old albums be remembered and burn all evedence of Guns n roses new album. i mean the Axl solo album which he put guns n roses on the cover to sell more copys
    lethaldosage45
LOL they are so desperate to make money that they are releasing lullabys! Funniest thing I have heard all day.
