Hellyeah Unveil Bloody 'Sangre Por Sangre' Video, Debut New Live Lineup
1
Hellyeah have entered full promotion mode for their upcoming "Blood for Blood" album, and, asĀ Loudwire notes, that includes a new music video and returning to the stage. The band just debuted the clip for the track "Sangre Por Sangre (Blood for Blood)," and kicked off their touring support of the album in Abilene, Texas.

As for the video, which can be seen below, the clip is a mixture of blistering, darkly lit performance footage set against the backdrop of a crime scene about to go up in flames. The clip features several striking shots, including a look at the band members standing outside a car from the viewpoint of inside the vehicle's smashed windshield and frontman Chad Gray with blood-filled eyes dripping down his cheeks. The song is one of the two singles the band has released to promote the upcoming disc.

Meanwhile, Hellyeah started their touring promotion for "Blood for Blood" in Abilene, Texas and finally revealed the answer to a heavily debated question - who would join the band on guitar after the exit of Greg Tribbett. The answer is former Magna-Fi guitarist Christian Brady, who is now handling the additional guitar parts during the band's touring.

Brady joins Bloodsimple's Kyle Sanders as new additions to the Hellyeah lineup after the exits of Tribbett and bassist Bob "Zilla" Kakaha. Video footage of the new lineup performing "Drink Drank Drunk" at the Patio in Abilene, Texas can be seen below courtesy of the Rock Station - Rock 108.

Hellyeah's "Blood for Blood" album is due in stores June 10. The album is currently available for pre-order via iTunes.

Well the song is well produced, it has kinda the "Slipknot without teeth" vibe but very average. Basically everybody wants Chad and Greg (former guitarist) to continue with Mudvayne as their worst work is still better than Hellyeah, sadly.

Well, compared to Mudvayne, Hellyeah's music is more simple: just chords with some melody over the top. Mudvayne's was a hell of a lot more interesting: the bass part had more than a couple of notes, etc. Though I guess this is good if you're into, as said, '"Slipknot without teeth" vibe'

Chad Gray and Vinnie Paul...how the mighty have fallen.

Chad Gray is a prime example of musicians turning their backs on decent projects and doing something as shitty as Hellyeah.

I don't get it though. I read that Mudvayne were reforming after one of the members (possibly ryan) finished work with another band. I was hoping the return would be soon, but as you can see, it isn't =/

It's all very dubious, to be honest. After Greg was fired from Hellyeah (for unspecified reasons), Mudvayne officially released a statement on Facebook that a reunion will happen when the time is right. But that doesn't seem to be happening.

I don't like hellyeah but said I would give the video a chance. It was worst then I expected.
