Finnish "love metallers" HIM have pushed back the release date of their new CD/DVD, "Digital Versatile Doom: Live at the Orpheum Theatre", to April 29 from the previously announced April 1. The live portion of the DVD was recorded/filmed at the band's November 14-15, 2007 concerts at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. According to the HIM newsletter, you'll go on stage and behind the scenes with Ville [Valo, HIM frontman] and the band as they give one of their most heartfelt shows to date. Also featured on the DVD, watch the journey of HIM's biggest fans as they go to Seattle to meet the band, see the heartagram photo gallery and watch as Ville recounts the journey that was 'Venus Doom'." "Digital Versatile Doom" also features a second disc, with the full live performance from The Orpheum Theater and a 16-page booklet of original art and images.     Sorry i know that was not warranted.. it's just that the "Wings of a butterfly" song was stuck in my head forever, not because its good, but becaues they played it ALL the TIME!

    Everybody who says HIM sucks and blah blah blah.....you people just dont face the fact that they overcome a lot of your favorite bands, kiss HIM's ass and kiss my ****ing ass, DEAL WITH IT AND GODDAMNIT THEY DELAYED IT 2 DAYS BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY?! :S

    You guys above me who are saying that you are always right... Go the **** to hell. If i don't like him (which i don't), i have my reasons. I don't believe in love-metal. I don't think HIM overcomes Metallica. Nowhere near. But that's MY opinion. So GTFO. That being said, i think it sucks when a band pushes back an album.

    I'd say Deep Shadows is their most poppish record by far, but I won't argue that they went downhill after Love Metal. The new songs are solid and proffessionally done but they feel kinda... unspectacular. The earlier records really had soul, back in the pre-US days.

    Can't wait for it to come out, just kind of sad that it's missing And Love Said No, Right Here In My Arms and Under The Rose. Ah well, might go see them on the 31stif I can find a way to get there. =D If not then =|

    Yeah...it SUCKS when Metallica push back an album.....so much. Pointless Douchebag
