Kreator Reveals New Album's Artwork

The cover artwork for their upcoming album, "Phantom Antichrist", has just been put online by the band.

The cover artwork for Kreator's upcoming album, "Phantom Antichrist", has just been put online by the band.

The piece has been created by iconic artworker Wes Benscoter who has worked for heavyweights such as Slayer, Dio and Black Sabbath before.

The album is currently being produced at the famous Fascination Street Studio with renowned producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Soilwork, Devin Townsend, Amon Amarth) in rebro, Sweden.

"Phantom Antichrist" marks the bands debut for Nuclear Blast and is set to be released June 1, 2012 (Europe), June 5, 2012 (North America).

As announced earlier, Kreator will also release an exclusive 7" single of the titlesong on April 20, 2012. The collector's item will be available in coloured red vinyl (limited to 250 pieces) as well as in clear vinyl (limited to 250 pieces, exclusively available at the Nuclear Blast Mailorder).

Kreator will exclusively perform a new song during their shows at this years Metalfest open air events!

    Yea this was released quite a while ago. Either way it's a wicked cover. Reminds me of Pleasure to Kill but more epic and more of a doomsday theme.
    but anyway, ****ing awesome album cover, let's hope, that the music is as good.
