Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Sar present their newest lullaby renditions of Tool, Loudwire reports. The album will include transformed classics such as "Schism," "Lateralus," "Stinkfist" and nine more.

"We feel our lullaby line fills a vacant musical niche," begins Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star's mission statement. "There are other lines of pop music lullabies but we decided to take the approach of being high end musically rather than simply doing these as a novelty. After all, just because the music is for a baby it doesn't have to sound unsophisticated.

"We feel we owe it to the artists that we are covering to do their music justice and our standard of quality transcends the lullaby genre. In fact, in addition to soothing babies our fans use our music for yoga, massage and sleep therapy or just general relaxation. We like to call them 'lullabies for all ages' and the diversity of use is testament to that."

The album is scheduled for release on July 16.

The other works of TTRS include the lullaby renditions of Slipknot, Oasis, Slayer, Linkin Park, the White Stripes, Pantera and more.

Rockabye baby is so cool. My daughter loves this shit. And it's pretty cool to say that she falls asleep on metallica. Cuz there's at least 20 lulaby renditions of great rock artists.

This is tons better and actually recognizable. If you played me that other song, I would never know it was Sober, let alone Tool.

Cool - should work really well. Though not entirely convinced Stinkfist is appropriate lol

"[it] fills a vacant musical niche." i've been enjoying the rockabye baby! lullaby versions of tool since they released it in 2006... and i don't think that was any less of a novelty (or any less musical) than this sounds.

Honestly....I feel like this will be pretty awesome. I think it's a good combination with Tool.

Rockabye Baby! did this 4-5 years ago. I brought a bunch of their albums when my daughter was born. Tool, Radiohead and Nirvana were the best. The funniest thing was how much the radiohead one sounded like it could have actually been radiohead performing it

Am I the only person on UG who is kind of sick of this? UG is posting about a cover-artist, and they've done it multiple times now. It was a cool idea once, but it got really old, really fast.
