Metal legends Motorhead have released details of a new album, titled "Aftershock," that is scheduled for release in September.

As Blabbermouth notes, the record, which is the follow-up to 2010's "The World Is Yours," was recorded at Maple Sound Studios in Santa Ana, California, with the band's long time producer Cameron Webb.

The record will feature 13 tracks. Some of the titles that have been revealed include: "Dust and Glass," "Knife," "Going to Mexico," "Lost Woman Blues," "Death Machine" and "Heartbreaker."

It has also revealed that Motorhead front man Lemmy has recently had surgery because of heart problems. According to Classic Rock, the front man had a defibrillator fitted in his chest to help his heart beat normally.

Motorhead were recently awarded the Golden God Award at this year's Metal Hammer Golden Gods ceremony.

Lemmy died a couple of years ago, death just didn't have the balls to tell him.

well, the band that introduced me to metal, the band that gave me my first tinnitus and a concussion at the same time, the band that denies metal though they are an institution in this genre, the band that won the ,,best worst band in the world'' award which was only created for them, the band, the only band that actually never put out a bad album, the band that keeps getting better with age, the band that actually lives the **** it attitude theyre talking about, the band that does the best Rock 'N' Rll in the world, is doing a new album and for that we thank you. Raise your glasses to the best band in the wrld, MOTRHEAD

Lemmy should be the spokesperson for Dos Equis and The Most Interesting Man in The World commercial campaign. "He agreed to heart surgery, just to make his doctor feel better about his body's refusal to die." Something...

A Motrhead album can never be a bad one so it's great to see that they're working on it! I'm just kind of worried, Lemmy for sure isn't the one to suddenly start living easy, probably not even after a heart problem, so even if it's sad but true I wouldn't be expecting Motrhead shows around 2015 because his body just can't take it forever. Sure Lemmy is god, drinks Jack and uses speed and blahblah but wake up people, those two nutrients don't exactly help in this case.. Hopefully I'm wrong and they'll do one hell of a show here in Finland next month!

Let me just re-affirm that for you. You NEED to see them live, they're f*cking incredible, even now. I saw them in 2011 and they've been my favourite band ever since, they're still the best live band I've ever seen.
