Full tracklisting for the album is as follows:

09. Headlong Flight

The first new album from Rush in four years, "Clockwork Angels" is another concept piece from the band, the story of which has been hinted at via a recent press release:
"The story features lost cities, pirates, anarchists, an exotic carnival, and a rigid Watchmaker who imposes precision on every aspect of daily life."
The concept for "Clockwork Angels" expands beyond the record though. A novelisation by the same title is also being written by renowned science fiction author Kevin J. Anderson in collaboration with Rush drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. The first single from the album, "Headlong Flight", will get a radio release on April 19th and North American tour announcements from the band are also expected in the near future.
The announcement comes hot off the heels of Rush being crowned lifetime achievers at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards. The ceremony, which took place in Los Angeles on April 11th, saw Tenacious D bestow the band with the award. Said Jack Black of Rush's influence:
"Rush was the most impressive band, musically, when I was just learning about rock... Weirdly, they got your body moving in interpretive-dancing ways, but it was still aggressive. Their stuff was just so complex and so tasty!"
