Via a lengthy statement on the band's official website, Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams has revealed that the band are working on their fourth album and have already completed the first track, which is titled "Daydreaming": "The guys and I went in to record a song for our 4th album about a week and a half ago, it was all very exciting. At the end of our time in the studio, it was clear to us that this was definitely right! So without delaying any longer, we would like to announce that our 4th album's producer is Justin Meldal-Johnsen. And what the heck, we might as well tell you that the one song we recorded will be called 'Daydreaming'." As Gigwise reports, producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen has worked with a number of artists including Beck, Nine Inch Nails and M83. While the band is apparently making progress with the new disc, Williams stated that there's not guarantee it will be out before the end of the year: "We're working on a pretty strange schedule, by our standards. There has never been so much time and care put into a Paramore album. Usually, we are rushing to make a very strict deadline which so far has just not been right for this record. We cannot assure you it will be out this year." The last recorded output from Paramore came in July of last year, when the band offered what they called a "singles club", selling one new single a month for three months. Those tracks were "Hello Cold World", "Renegade" and "In The Mourning". The new Paramore record will be the band's first album since the departure of Josh and Zac Farro, who quit the band in December 2010.

What do you mean already? Their last album was nearly two and a half years ago. That's quite a long time for a pop punk band.

Dude, what did you expect? She's a fairly skinny young chick, so they were about what one would expect.

"As Gigwise reports", with no link to their article. Classy, U-G. You were already kings of lazy reporting, copy & pasting articles from other sites, and now you're not even giving them the token link. That's actually disgusting behaviour and any and every editor, writer and staff member of this site should be deeply ashamed.

i am really excited to hear this, I kinda put off listening to Singles Club songs except Monster, which I kinda had no choice in hearing, because of Josh and Zac leaving, but after listening to them a few times, it still sounds like the Paramore I know and love, so personally, I'm stoked!

I got into Paramore when I was about 15 mostly cos I thought Hayley Williams was hot as ****. But as I've got older they've become more of a guilty pleasure. Their last few songs were OK, but didn't really do anything for me. On the plus side, the more bland they start to get the hotter Hayley Williams gets. And regarding the boobs. Hayley has small boobs. Get over it. It's not new information. It's not like she's gonna take a nude and suddenly look like Diora Baird.

This just in: I just completed a bowel movement. I wonder which one sounded worse the Paramore single or my flatulence.

I like how other people have said almost the exact same thing as me and got thumbs up, yet I have 3 thumbs down. UG comments section will always baffle me...

First album was amazing, second album was almost as good as the first, and the third album was a huge let down. Paramore was good when they were new to the game. Their sound was fresh and even though I listen to metal mostly, I dug it. After hearing the third album I was, once again, forced to start hating a band I originally liked. A lot of bands have been doing this lately and it makes me sad.
