Seattle rockers Pearl Jam are reportedly set to unveil their new single "Mind Your Manners" on July 16. According to Grunge Report, the track release was initially confirmed on AllAccess.Com, but got removed afterwards, so although the situation is still uncertain, it seems like something is definitely cooking up in among the Pearl Jam ranks.
The track will mark the band's first fresh release since 2011's "Ole" and is likely to find its spot on the upcoming yet-untitled record.
In the words of guitarist Stone Gossard, the new album is "almost done" and should deliver more signature Pearl Jam sound.
"It's almost done and as far as what it sounds like, it sounds like Pearl Jam," Gossard told Guerrilla Candy. "You're going to hear some rock songs and you're going to hear some quiet songs and you'll hear some songs in between. That's all I can really say about it because we aren't talking about it yet so it doesn't make much sense for me to say anything."
As the ninth record in the Pearl Jam opus, "Backspacer" dropped back in September 2009, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart as the band's first chart-topper since 1996's "No Code."
