Phil Anselmo has posted a brutal title song from his debut solo album called "Walk Through Exits Only." You can listen to the song in the player below.

It's the second song to be revealed from the album which will be available from his label Housecore Records from July 16 on CD and vinyl.

Anselmo produced the album himself with help from Michael Thompson at his New Orleans studio.

"It wasn't about doing a paint-by-numbers thrash or heavy metal record," Anselmo said of the project. "It's an angry album that only I could do. I don't see anybody else out there screaming about the same sh-t I'm screaming about. On this album, there isn't any wordplay, there isn't any hidden message, it's all right there in front of you."

It IS released thru Season Of Mist. The track is called "Walk Through Exits Only", like the album. See the tracklist... 01. Music Media Is My Whore 02. Battalion Of Zero 03. Betrayed 04. Usurper Bastard's Rant 05. Walk Through Exits Only 06. Bedroom Destroyer 07. Bedridden 08. Irrelevant Walls And Computer Screens
Saw Down last weekend, The whole band killed it, Phil's as good as he's always been if not better.
I know of 5 local bands who sound just like this... I hope that the rest of the album has some more diversity and actually uses Phils voice to its full extent. Screaming's all well and good until every ****ing word is screamed, then it just gets annoying. Guarantee you, some will like it though, even if it is cliche as ****.
