Placebo Reveal New Album Title, Cover and Tour Dates

"Loud Like Love" is scheduled for release this fall.

Placebo unveil "Loud Like Love" as their seventh studio album title. The new record is scheduled for release on September 16.

The band posted a statement on their official website.

"It is with great pleasure that we can finally reveal on the 16th September 2013, Placebo will release their 7th studio album titled 'Loud Like Love.'" says the statement. "Recorded in London at RAK Studios during 2012 and early 2013, the album has been produced by Adam Noble and features 10 brand new studio tracks.

The new album preorders start at May 31. It will be released in various formats:

  • 3D Lenticular Super Deluxe Box Set
  • Limited Edition Deluxe Digi-Pack Version
  • Double 12" Coloured Vinyl Gatefold Edition
  • Standard CD Album

      I've never been disappointed by these guys. Slightly repetitive, perhaps, but still balls-out good. And if you want to catch a damn fine concert, catch Placebo.
      The cover screams sex and drugs... typical Placebo! Looking forward to this, last album slightly dropped off the plateau they were on. Hope more time with the current line-up has got them writing great stuff again.
      I don't like their music at all, but they have some good stuff. Anyway, will be looking forward for this.

      This is the same guy who thought Pete Wentz using the phrase "tongue in cheek" was disgusting because it "came from a fag's mouth." You really expect him to say anything smart?
      I really liked their first two albums.Saw them in Glasgow way back in 96 or 97.Was my second gig.Pretty good live too.
