The reissue of Queens Of The Stone Age's self-titled debut has moved to January 11, 2011 (for both the CD and vinyl release). The reissue was originally set to take place on Black Friday. No reason for the delay was mentioned in the announcement but here are details including the bonus track info: Queens of the Stone Age's critically-lauded 1998 self-titled debut, reflects the band's original vision for the album with three tracks that were initially cut from the record reinstated. The sought after and long out of print album arrives in-stores on Jan. 11 via Joshua Homme's own Rekords Rekords in two formats: a traditional CD release as well as a special bundled package featuring the album both as a 180 gram double-gatefold, double LP and a digital download card. The three additional songs are "The Bronze," "These Aren't The Droids You're Looking For," and "Spiders And Vinegaroons." Queens of the Stone Age track listing: 01. Regular John 02. Avon 03. If Only 04. Walkin' On The Sidewalks 05. You Would Know 06. The Bronze 07. How to Handle A Rope (A Lesson In The Lariat) 08. Mexicola 09. Hispanic Impressions 10. You Can't Quit Me Baby 11. These Aren't The Droids You're Looking For 12. Give The Mule What He Wants 13. Spiders and Vinegaroons 14. I Was A Teenage Hand Model Thanks for the report to antiMusic.com.

I'm sooo glad this is finally happening! I've been looking for this album for a long time and could only find it on Amazon and Ebay for absurd amounts of money

Dude. Seriously. RTFP. Also, do you actually think anybody would come out and say, "Yeah, this record is worse than our last one." Maybe a few months after it hits, but not before. They'd skirt around that one like a guy trying desperately to give the right answer to his girl's, "Have I put on weight?" question.

I'm just disappointed because I thought this actually had something to do with Queens of the Stone Age and not their album. But that's still interesting news

I dled this album like 5 years ago... So, I guess this is good for those die-hards who just have to own the album? Either way, it's about freaking time; it's one of their best albums.

I dunno why but I clicked this because I thought Josh Homme or Van Leeuwen were issuing a new pedal -.-

I don't know a lot of QOTSA fans say the same thing but then I've heard plenty agree with me and say that Era Vulgaris was fantastic. I guess it's just a small difference in taste, but either way a new Queens album would be great news sometime soon.

man i didnt know this album was so hard to get. i remember buying it a couple of years ago at a music store for about $12, and im pretty sure there were a couple more copies o_O

hmm Spirders and Vinagrooms is on the Split EP im not so sure that Josh wanted it on the first album. There are also 2 issues of the first album. The Roadrunner Records Re-issue is a lot less rare (although still a pain to get - I've got one tho!)

Oh and I just want to say I'm a great fan also of Era Vulgaris. That album took a while to sink in, but it deeply, deeply rocks in kind of a horny way. The early shit is great, really amazing, but they've still got it. You can wake me up at night for Misfit Love.

These extra songs have been issued a long time ago on EPs. So I hope the remixing makes for some great enhancement of the sound. It's a great album and the only one I haven't yet bough in physical form, since it's pretty hard to get.

Maybe not totally related, but does this mean that the Desert Sessions box set is going to be delayed as well?

Heh, they're releasing it on 1/11/11 then? Not too bad of an idea if you ask me.

NOES! I am disappoint. I've been waiting for this to be released for so long...

Oh, too bad. I was hoping someone might be kind enough to grab me this for Christmas/my birthday (which is just before Christmas). Either way, it's nice to at least know that it's coming. Been waiting to finish my QOTSA collection for the longest time...

That's a track by the Dutch stoner rock band Beaver, it's not a Queens song. It appeared on the Qotsa/Beaver Split EP.

Too bad it's delayed again, but on the other hand they did add the 3 most badass songs they ever made, so I don't mind the extra wait.

A new album is only worth it if it's better than Era Vulgaris. I wanted to like it, but it never clicked for me. It seems like they'll never be able to top the first three albums.
