Rush fans only have a few weeks until the band issues the first single from the forthcoming "Clockwork Angels" album.
Rushisaband.com reports "Headlong Flight" will hit rock radio on April 19.
The single will featured an edited track, running five-and-a-half minutes; the full album version clocks in at seven-and-a-half minutes.
"Clockwork Angels" will be released on May 23 in Japan and May 29 in North America.
The week before the single is released, Rush will be honored with The Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award at the 4th annual Revolver Golden God Awards on April 11.
The award will be presented by Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D.
"We are honored and delighted to receive this honor - especially because it will be presented by Jack and Kyle," said Rush drummer Neil Peart. "Our 'lifetimes' are not over yet, and we dearly hope our 'achievements' are not either, so I suppose you could say that to us this is the 'So Far, So Good' award."
