Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has said that his other band Stone Sour are planning to release a live DVD and covers EP.
According to Blabbermouth, Taylor has said that the band will release a live DVD which they shot in Brighton toward the end of 2010, while in the UK on a co-headline tour with Avenged Sevenfold.
He said: "We shot a concert last year on the co-headlining tour that we did with Avenged Sevenfold and we shot it in Brighton and we've been trying to get it together ever since and it's just been insane."
"There's been so much work and we just haven't had a chance to kind of get a handle on it. But we've been talking about doing a covers EP forever. This is just a kind of a cool way to put something cool out that the fans will dig."
Taylor has just completed a run of European festivals with Slipknot and is currently promoting his new book "Seven Deadly Sins".
The frontman has also said recently that he is "feeling better" about the prospect of recording a new Slipknot album, but remains "on the fence" about the idea.
