AsĀ Ultimate Classic Rock points out, this new album, Frehley's first in five years, is set for release next week. For the album, Frehley is reuniting with the album cover artist who did "Destroyer" and "Love Gun" for KISS in the late '70s.

"I've been talking with Ken Kelly since 2007 about painting a CD cover for me and it has finally happened," Frehley said in a press release. "I couldn't be more excited about the new 'Space Invader' cover, and the music behind it is also going to rock your world."

"Space Invader" is due on August 15 in Germany, August 18 in Europe and August 19 in the US.

Holy crap this is cool! Always been a fan of Ace's solo work, this doesn't disappoint.
Great instrumental work, as expected, but vocals... I wish Ace worked with some real singers.
yeah i agree, he's not a singer, he's a guitar player, he kinda screwed up his career by leaving KISS
always been a fan of his solo work this isn't his best but also not his worst the solo is what really won me over
