According to Blabbermouth.net, earlier this week, In The Now magazine conducted an interview with vocalist Chuck Billy of San Francisco Bay Area metallers Testament during the band's U.S. tour with Anthrax and Death Angel. You can now watch the chat below.

Testament has tapped Gene "The Atomic Clock" Hoglan (ex-Dark Angel, ex-Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Dethklok) to sit behind the kit for select dates on the Anthrax tour. Gene will perform with Testament from October 28 through November 13; the remaining dates will see Testament joined by John Tempesta (Exodus, White Zombie, Rob Zombie, Helmet, The Cult).

Due to a "serious injury", regular Testament drummer Paul Bostaph is unable to take part in the tour. Paul was also absent from the recording sessions for Testament's new album, "The Dark Roots Of Earth", tentatively due in late April/early May 2012 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Sadus drummer Jon Allen sat behind the kit for Testament when the band performed in the place of In Flames at the first two shows of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival - on July 9 in San Bernardino, California and on July 10 in Mountain View, California - as well as on the group's recently completed South American tour.

"The Dark Roots of Earth"...sounds awesome! And judging by Formation, this should be great as long as it keeps the same sound. I also hear the new Tool album will be in May of next year as well, so that would be a great month for me.
