Despite being on hiatus right now, The Killers are maintaining their holiday tradition: releasing a Christmas single. The Las Vegas band will release the single "Boots" on November 30 in the US, according to a post on the group's official website, TheKillersMusic.com. The Killers began releasing a holiday season single in 2006, and haven't missed a Christmas since. Like all previous releases, "Boots" will benefit Worlds AIDS Day, which will take place December 1. The group has been taking a break from touring and recording lately. In the meantime, singer/keyboardist Brandon Flowers made and released his solo debut, Flamingo. Thanks for the report to Bryan Wawzenek, Gibson.com.

Glad they're doing this. The Christmas singles tend to be different from their ordinary material, but they're still good and benefit a great cause

I really, really, really dislike their music (a lot), but it's nice of them to keep the tradition going. And it benefitting a good cause--not too shabby.

i hate the killers... but still, i want this as the christmas number one instead of something from the xfactor (its inevitable) that or get a death metal song to number 1 just to piss off simon cowell and the rest of the retarded % of the puplic (around 75-80%)

I do think The Killers are good, but they are very overrated. Props to them for doing this, I hope it does well (not that it wouldn't).
