Trent Reznor has announced that the debut album from his new group How To Destroy Angels, should be released early 2011.

The Nine Inch Nails frontman, who formed the band with his wife Mariqueen Maandig and Atticus Ross, revealed on the their blog HowToDestroyAngels.Tumblr.com, that they are currently "working on a full-length", adding that they hope to release it in "Q1 2011".

The follow-up to their recently issued free self-titled EP, Reznor also explained a bit more about the 6-track release.

"This EP is an artefact of the very first experiments we tried together," he said. "We were going to wait until we had a large batch of songs and then distil things down from there, but we liked this first collection and decided to release them. I would expect the next release to sound a bit more focused as we discover more about our combined chemistry."

Available to download via their website HowToDestroyAngels.com, the EP is also due out on CD on July 6, and will be issued on vinyl at a later date.

Thanks for the report to Nme.com.

agreed. i loved this first EP, Mariqueen's voice complimented industrial style much better than I thought it was going to. This EP very much exceeded my expectations. Can't wait for new NIN/HTDA material in the near future

I did enjoy the songs that weren't released until June 1, mostly Parasite and Fur Lined. I was a bit worried by The Space in Between and A Drowning until that point, but hearing the full EP and seeing this statement reassures me that they will develop some fine music for the upcoming LP.

I totally agree... I hated The Space in Between and A Drowning. I thought this recording was gonna really suck. But I downloaded it anyway and found I like all the songs except these two. That being said, I think Mariqueen sucks vocally... I am not sure if she actually contributed anything musically or if she just played what Reznor told her to in the teaser videos. I think it would have been much better if reznor performed the vocals
