Black Label Society frontman Zakk Wylde will be grinding his axe to the tune of KISS on the new Black Veil Brides EP, "Rebels", which is due for release this Christmas.

It's BLS meets BVB on the upcoming "Rebels" EP. The disc will feature the leather clad rockers covering Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell", an original tune titled "Coffins", and also boasts Zakk Wylde's axework on a cover of the KISS song "Unholy". BVB announced Wylde's involvement via Facebook yesterday, saying:

"Our good friend and rock n roll legend Zakk Wylde plays guitar on the song 'Unholy' from our upcoming Rebels EP!"

Black Veil Brides are also working on a follow-up to their 2011 album "Set The World On Fire". The band recently canceled a portion of their UK tour due to a broken nose suffered by frontman Andy Biersack, they are currently back on the road with Avenged Sevenfold, Asking Alexandria, and Hollywood Undead for the "Buried Alive" tour.

BVB is the most lame, overdressed, emo looking, sad excuse for a band... Zakk don't be a fool support a REAL band

While I'm not sure this is the coolest thing Zakk Wylde has done, it's an interesting choice for a cover. As much as I hate to say it, BVB just earned a little respect from me. Revenge is one of my favorite KISS albums; it's their best album, musically, in my opinion, even though I like Destroyer better for its songs. But they would need Zakk Wylde to cover something from that album. Bruce Kulick is a beast . Check out Revenge if you think I'm lying.

there old stuff was emo but listen to their newer shit. everyone really knows nothing if they think BVB is all emo, Andy Biersack (Six) has come out and clearly stated they aren't. I love Zakk and I love BVB, they sing actual rock music now folks, hell their first album isnt technically emo, it's just a semi-screamo album, which if you were to know a damn thing about music you would know that doesn't have to be emo shit. Take a listen to Mortician's Daughter or Rebel Love Song, sure maybe it's a tad cheesy, but the ****ers know how to rock. Thank you haha

I just don't get all the hate for BVB. They're really not THAT bad. At their worst, they're a dumbed down Avenged Sevenfold from back in their more metalcore days. And at least they're trying to emulate some decent bands as opposed to trying to be the next Creed or Nickelback.

If you used proper grammar and didn't contradict yourself people would take your opinion more seriously. And the fact that they're "emo" isn't the reason why most people do not enjoy their music. It's just not generally good music. Another thing, if you look at the "Knives and Pens" video and see how they look, they look like "emos". An "emo" person would identify with this band, causing the impression that this band is "emo". I mean goodness! If they don't want people to say that they're "emo", dress normally! For future reference, if you're going to call someone out on their knowledge of music, don't use the term "screamo".

This. Screamo is not genre. It was made up by the scene kids to make deathcore seem more br00tal
You're kidding right? Screamo is most certainly a real genre. Circle Takes the Square, City of Catepillar, Snors...

Screamo is an evolution of Emo, which was an evolution of Hardcore Punk that started in the late 80's. If you're going to call someone out on their knowledge of music, make sure you actually know something about it. Screamo is a real genre, as is Emo, and neither of them have ANYTHING to do with the kids who like to wear all black and cut themselves.

because their record label needs money, shredbear. Didn't glam rock die like 23 years ago or something? And have more talent? And appear not even half as gay as this? And have girls who you could actually tell were girls?
