Avenged Sevenfold Set To Headline Download 2011
Avenged Sevenfold, who last played Download Festival at Donnington Park in 2006 have been confirmed to play again but this time as a headlining act along side System Of A Down. Recently in Kerrang! Magazine, a statement from M.Shadows the lead vocalist of the band was published confirming that they will be performing at the festival next year. We had such an amazing time on our recent UK tour we couldn't wait to come back! frontman M. Shadows tells Kerrang!. It will be a weekend that will go down in the history books. We couldn't be more thrilled to be playing the festival of festivals! The band along with ex-Dream Theater drummer, Mike Portnoy are currently finishing their European tour for the latest release "Nightmare". Avenged Sevenfold are set to tour again after the Christmas holidays this time with Stone Sour and Hollywood Undead for the "Nightmare After Christmas" tour. Wether this tour will go outside of America is uncertain.
