Avril Lavigne's latest Marilyn Manson collaboration track, "Bad Girl," recently surfaced online and is available for streaming below. The tune comes off singer's upcoming self-titled fifth studio effort scheduled for November 5 release via Epic Records. Two weeks ago, the album was announced with "Let Me Go" single featuring Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. A riff-based rocker, the song is clearly a representative of the record's heavier side. Clocking in at just under three minutes, it will likely get your head bopping throughout the entire length, so make sure to check it out. "The record's really diverse," Lavigne told Billboard back in April. "We've got these pop-rock tunes, and then these piano ballads with orchestras. I have a heavier song that Marilyn Manson's on called 'Bad Girl,' and then I've got a song called 'Hello Kitty' that sounds like nothing I've done before. 'Here's to Never Growing Up' is one of the rock tunes on it, but it's all over the place." The effort consists of 13 songs, eight of which were co-written by Kroeger, who was also one of the album producers. Prior to "Let Me Go," the album was announced with "Here's to Never Growing Up" lead single in April and "Rock N' Roll" tune in late August.

Good song! I hate to admit it, but I would probably have liked this song a lot better if I had heard it on the radio and didn't know who it was.

Why? What does that matter? If it's good, it is good. If Lady Gaga released a huge thrash metal song that was killer why hate it just because you don't like the artist typically? Not saying this is a great metal song, just a general example.

It's surprisingly catchy, still pop but with just a bit of an edge. It's definitely better than anything she's done since pretty much her 2nd album.

i actually like the damn song, it's not one of the best ever but it still is nice for what it is

Good to see a colaboration I like this. I don't really care about the result to be honest it just doesn't touch my taste of music but I like the fact that those 2 worlds can come together to create a piece of art. Anyone hating on this probably has strange way to look at music and art in general.

What's going on with all these pop and metal collaborations???

    Um...practically meaningless..genre boundaries.

There are genres for a reason. Manson and avril are both commercial pop music. Nothing special. Im sure they didnt just wake up beside each other in bed while Chad was at work and decide to make a song together..... or maybe they did!

Industrial Metal, but yeah most "metalheads" don't consider that metal cause of the keys and drum machines/sequencers.

Breaking news: you're wrong. If Manson is metal, then I f*cking give up. Bands/artists aren't metal just because heavy guitars.

If this is not metal, i don't know what genre this is.
Manson actually makes pretty good music. And i'm not even a fan, i just know his work. And as far as this Avril Lavigne collaboration goes, i think it's interesting. Commercial pop-punk with an edge, i like it.

What about this song is Metal, exactly?
    GodzillaRAWRRR
Umm loud guitars with a lot of distortion? Lyrics about blood and vampirism? Satanic imagery? Heavy vocals?

Dont worry about these guys bro. They are just ignorant pretend-elitists. They wouldnt know metal if it bit them in the ass. They just walk around yelling about what is and what isnt metal because they have no personality of their own or taste in music. They only like metal because it makes them feel superior. Just children.

I like the song, although I can see why others don't like it. Then again I have both good and bad taste in music.

holy shit....after he did a remix with lady gaga now that....shame on him.....

Woah woah woah, don't put Lady Gaga on the same level as Avril Lavigne. Gaga has more talent in her pinky toe than Lavigne has in her whole body.

I think we found what killed poor Lou Reed

I think a Marilyn Manson and Avril Lavigne sex tape would be better than this song, and funny just to piss Chad Kroeger off.

MM's growls in the background of the chorus are just so uncomfortable and not fitting for a record that will be sold mostly to 10 year olds. [coming from a guy extremely comfortable with listening to harsh vocal styles]

Marilyn and Avril would have made a more badass couple than Avril and Chad. On a side note: What is up with that annoying delay effect on Avril's voice?
    shawnkenneth
What's with the downvotes? I meant they would make a bad ass couple, musically, if Manson produced the album! Seriously, this song might not be that great but it's better than most of the stuff Avril does...

It's been confirmed that Avril and Manson slept together in the past.

It sounds like I expected it would. You guys should check this out if you haven't already.

Meh. Manson used to be an artist, everything being about interesting concepts and ideas. Born Villain was pretty solid, but he has largely become this washed up Rockstar that i hoped he never would be. Ah well. Holywood remains my favourite album of all time :3
